HOW IT ALL WORKS


You Will Transition Through 4 Key Phases As You Learn and Grow.

The goal is to teach you, coach you, and mentor you so you can achieve psychological calm and emotional stability all on your own.

1. Intake

Your intake appointment is an opportunity for you to unpack what you’ve been experiencing and express what you feel is causing you to suffer psychologically and emotionally. Throughout your appointment, Neil will be reading you based on your past and present experiences, past and current behaviors, and reactions. Neil will pay close attention to the root psychological causes that are directly impacting your thoughts, emotions, and behavior as you articulate the details of your life. Once identified, Neil will have exactly what he needs to help you overcome the negative thoughts, unwanted emotions, and undesired behavior you’re experiencing.

3. Coaching

Once you have progressed through the teaching phase, you are then equipped with the intellectual understanding needed to comprehend what is happening within you and what is within your control. Possessing knowledge, though, is not enough. It is the application of knowledge that makes the difference in your life. The coaching phase is an opportunity for you to turn your new understanding into new behavioral skills while being coached and refined along the way. As you practice controlling your thoughts and influencing your emotions, Neil will be there every step of the way, supporting you, encouraging you, and observing areas of refinement.

2. Teaching

Equipped with the knowledge gained from your intake appointment, Neil will then begin increasing your understanding of things that are within your control. The teaching phase is an opportunity for you to learn about how your mind processes experiences, what causes emotions, how to control thoughts, how to control emotions, and other important things needed to put you back in control of your internal experience. Between appointments, you will reflect upon what you have learned. Your next appointment is an opportunity for you to clarify what you have learned after your own self-reflection. This is an important part of the process.

4. Mentoring

The mentoring phase allows you to move forward with your life, applying what you now know with consistency over time. The last stage in your development is knowing that you have what it takes to maintain psychological calm and emotional stability no matter what comes your way. Throughout the mentoring phase, you will catch up with Neil less frequently. You will then have periodic catch-ups, allowing you to reflect on what you did well and what you could improve on. The mentoring phase keeps you accountable. Neil will also unpack any areas that still may need refinement or remind you of things you may have overlooked.

Appointment Availability

General office admin hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, however our Counselling appointments generally start from 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday and there are also sessions available on Saturdays between 10am and 2pm.
